President Joko Widodo inaugurated the operational phase of the Batang Integrated Industrial Estate (KITB) in Batang Regency, Central Java. The management aims to attract as much foreign direct investment as possible from industrial relocation flows, which will significantly absorb Indonesian labor. "Support for basic utilities is evident. You can see for yourself, the roads in the area are good. Connectivity by land, rail, or sea is all available. So, some key points for investors to consider for their industrial relocation needs are already met," said the President Director of the State-Owned Enterprises Holding Danareksa, Yadi Jaya Ruchandi.
Yadi emphasized that KITB possesses several advantages that will appeal to foreign investors. Additionally, KITB adopts the concept of green sustainable and circular economy, making it an environmentally friendly industrial area. It is hoped that more foreign investors will invest in KITB, contributing to the advancement of Indonesia's economy and massively absorbing local labor.
