Zainab is optimistic that the target agreed upon between the Regional Budget Committee and the Regional Government Budget Team of North Maluku Province will be achieved. The agency is striving to maximize existing potentials to boost regional revenue through various innovative programs. One of these efforts includes holding a focus group discussion (FGD) and socialization of Regional Regulation No. 1 of 2024 on Regional Taxes and Levies. This event, organized by North Maluku Bapenda at the Emerald Hotel in Ternate on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, was opened by Acting Governor Samsuddin A Kadir and attended by the Regional Traffic Director of North Maluku Police, the Head of Jasa Raharja, heads of regional government offices, and business actors. The FGD and socialization aim to enhance understanding related to regional taxes and levies, align perceptions among tax administrators and business actors as tax objects, and promote compliance and adherence in paying regional taxes and levies.
