Becoming a Digital Transformation Platform for Export-Import and Logistics Services, the Government Encourages the Development of the Indonesia National Single Window (INSW) System

To strengthen synergy and collaboration between Ministries/Agencies (K/L) for efficient and integrated public services and digitalization in the export-import sector, the Indonesian Government has established the Indonesia National Single Window (INSW) system managed by the National Single Window Agency (LNSW). Following Presidential Regulation Number 44 of 2018 on INSW, a policy harmonization and business process synchronization meeting was held among K/L through the INSW Steering Committee Coordination Meeting at the Borobudur Hotel, Jakarta, on Thursday (July 4). The meeting, chaired by Secretary of the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs Susiwijono Moegiarso and attended by the Head of the National Single Window Agency Oza Olavia along with several Echelon I and II officials representing 18 Ministries/Agencies related to INSW, aimed to address strategic issues of 2023 and discuss plans for 2024. Key 2023 issues discussed included harmonizing port/airport codes, forming and strengthening the Single Window Service Unit (ULSW), creating Service Level Agreements (SLA) and Business Continuity Plans (BCP) for INSW services, and data and information governance. Susiwijono emphasized the importance of INSW in driving digital transformation in export-import and logistics services, highlighting LNSW's progress and new features.

The meeting also proposed 2024 strategic issues, such as encouraging integrated K/L to implement risk management using Indonesia Single Risk Management (ISRM), developing an integrated communication channel for comprehensive services to businesses, and establishing BCPs related to SINSW integration. It also stressed the importance of INSW's position in the revision of Government Regulation Number 5 of 2021 on Risk-Based Business Licensing and the draft Presidential Regulation on Logistics. Representatives from various Ministries/Agencies appreciated LNSW's efforts in integrating systems and business processes in export, import, and logistics and shared their progress on 2023 issues and plans for 2024.
