Bea Cukai Kendari and Bank Indonesia (BI) have partnered to accelerate global trade and expand the halal product market through a Coordination Meeting on Synergy Business Matching for Exports. This agenda was part of the Eastern Indonesia Sharia Economic Festival (FESyar KTI) held on Friday (21/06). The discussion was attended by representatives from various agencies focused on the export of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to seek strategic solutions. Various inputs were provided by meeting participants, resulting in agreements to improve export services, provide financial support for MSMEs, and offer capacity-building training for product development.
The collaboration between Bea Cukai, Bank Indonesia, and other involved parties reflects a strong commitment to the growth of the sharia economy in Eastern Indonesia. The synergy between the public and private sectors is expected to be a concrete step towards achieving the goals of FESyar KTI 2024. Similarly, Bea Cukai Bekasi, in collaboration with the Bekasi City Trade and Industry Office, held MSME training themed Trade Mission for Superior Export Products on Monday (24/06). The training received enthusiasm from 80 MSME participants at Griya Wulansari Margajaya, Bekasi City. Undani, Head of Counseling and Information Services at Bea Cukai Bekasi, emphasized the importance of Customs' support in helping MSMEs enter the global market. "The Ministry of Finance, especially Customs, is ready to support MSMEs with Export Clinic facilities," said Undani. These initiatives are expected to prepare and make MSME players in various regions more competitive in entering the global market. The collaboration between institutions shows a tangible effort in strengthening the export ecosystem and promoting sharia economic growth in Indonesia.
