Bank Jatim Tuban Branch continues to support various economic development projects in Tuban Regency, East Java. This aligns with the local government’s programs and Bank Jatim’s mission to contribute to economic growth. Bank Jatim Tuban Branch has actively supported economic growth through initiatives such as the Promotion and Ticket Payment Facilities Program for Silowo Ecotourism in Mandirejo Village, Merakurak District, Tuban Regency. This program was launched on Sunday, June 23, 2024, attended by the Acting Compliance Officer of Bank Jatim, the Director of Bank Jatim Tuban Branch, the Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Tuban Regency, and the Head of the Regional Finance, Revenue, and Asset Management Agency (BPKPAD). Other attendees included the Head of Bank Jatim Tuban Branch, several Bank Jatim branch leaders, the Secretary of Merakurak Sub-district (Sekcam), the Head of Mandirejo Village, and the Chairman of the Silowo Ecotourism Pokdarwis. Suyatno, Head of Bank Jatim Tuban Branch, emphasized that the Promotion and Ticket Payment Facilities Program is part of Bank Jatim’s commitment to aiding local economic growth. “We support tourist spots in Tuban through promotion and branding. Several tourist spots have already been branded and promoted on social media,” said Yatno, his familiar nickname.
Yatno explained that promotion and branding bring numerous benefits, such as increased recognition of tourist destinations by people outside the region, leading to higher visitor numbers in Tuban. This increase in visits is expected to boost the tourism sector. Additionally, the program is part of Bank Jatim’s commitment to advancing the Regional Financial Access Acceleration Team (TPAKD), initiated by Tuban Regency and the Financial Services Authority (OJK) through cashless payments or QRIS. Yatno added that the efforts will not stop at Silowo Ecotourism; Bank Jatim Tuban Branch will extend the program to other tourist destinations. Meanwhile, Regional Secretary Budi Wiyana expressed gratitude to Bank Jatim for helping develop the potential of Silowo Ecotourism, which could have a multiplier effect on the economy for both the village government and the local community. “We hope that Bank Jatim will continue these efforts. As other economic potentials, both in tourism and other sectors, develop, they will synergize with Bank Jatim’s business activities,” Budi Wiyana concluded.
