The team will utilize Australian Export Finance activities in the region, including the Southeast Asia Investment Financing Facility valued at AUD 2 billion, to support and catalyze greater private sector investment. Based at the Australian Embassy in Jakarta, the Investment Deal Team will showcase opportunities and establish connections with potential local partners through Australia's representation in Indonesia. They will issue a digital 'Deal Book' containing various investment-ready opportunities, conduct market briefings, and create market guides to raise awareness of market trends, policies, regulations, incentives, and opportunities. This initiative was announced by Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese in Jakarta during the launch of "Invested: Southeast Asia Economic Strategy to 2040."
