The Nusantara Capital City Authority (OIKN) has partnered with PT Pos Indonesia to support logistics services in the new capital, Nusantara. According to OIKN Secretary Achmad Jaka Santos Adiwijaya, the extensive role of OIKN is mandated by the implementation of the 4P framework outlined in Law No. 3 of 2022 on the State Capital, as amended by Law No. 21 of 2023. This framework encompasses Planning, Development, Relocation, and the Implementation of the Special Regional Government for the Capital City, requiring collaboration from various sectors, including ministries, agencies, local governments, businesses, and the public. OIKN adheres to the principles of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), ensuring that all programs are evaluated for their carbon production and balanced accordingly.
PT Pos Indonesia CEO Faizal Rochmad Djoemadi expressed optimism about the success of the IKN development in inspiring future initiatives. The logistics partnership with OIKN is seen as a synergistic effort towards achieving integrated logistics that contributes to a progressive Indonesia. Djoemadi emphasized that building IKN involves not only physical infrastructure but also fostering a lifestyle harmonious with nature while implementing the latest technologies. This initiative aims to inspire both the public and private sectors in future infrastructure development. PT Pos Indonesia is committed to supporting all movements with a "green logistics" concept, aligning with current policies to ensure sustainable development in the new capital.
