Miftah Farid, Director of Primary Product Export Development, inaugurated the Adaptation of Exported Processed Food Products event held in a hybrid format from Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara, on Monday, 27 May. Miftah highlighted that Indonesia's processed food exports have shown positive growth over the past five years. To strengthen these exports, processed food producers need to adapt to the standards and preferences of their target export markets. This event focused on the theme of developing products and expanding export markets to the Philippines, Pakistan, and Kenya.
The speakers included Indonesia's Ambassador to Nairobi, Mohamad Hery Saripudin; Chargé d'Affaires at the Indonesian Embassy in Islamabad, Rahmat Hindiarta Kusuma; Trade Attaché in Manila, Martin Pandapotan; and University of Mataram lecturer, Kurniawan Yuniarto. The discussions covered improving the quality of processed food products for export and providing market-specific information for the countries represented by the speakers. The webinar was attended by around 85 online participants and 50 offline participants, all of whom were focused on the processed food industry.
