PT Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE) Subholding Upstream Pertamina's Eastern Indonesia Regional 4, through PT PHE Tomori Sulawesi (PHE TS) & PT Pertamina EP (PEP), has signed a sales and purchase agreement for Senoro condensate for the year 2024. The contract value is estimated to exceed USD 75 million, covering a volume of 1.1 million barrels for the period of May to December 2024. Senoro condensate is domestically produced from the Senoro Field managed by PHE TS and the Donggi Matindok Field managed by PEP. Both fields fall under the coordination of PT Pertamina EP Cepu (“PEPC”) as the managing entity for the Eastern Indonesia Regional. PT Pertamina Patra Niaga's subsidiary, Pertamina International Marketing & Distribution Pte Ltd (PIMD), plays a significant role in marketing Pertamina Group's products internationally. Since its establishment in 2019, PIMD has actively marketed Pertamina's products in international markets, including Fuel Oil and Petrochemicals from the Refining & Petrochemical Subholding, as well as Crude/Condensate from the Upstream Subholding. Muhamad Arifin, Director of Pertamina's Eastern Indonesia Regional, expressed appreciation for the successful collaboration between PHE TS, PEP, and PIMD. He emphasized that this partnership demonstrates effective synergy among Pertamina Group's Subholdings.
The Managing Director of PIMD, Aditya Budi Prabowo, expressed gratitude for the trust and support extended by PHE TS and PEP in commercializing Senoro condensate. He hopes this success will pave the way for sustained synergy between the Upstream and Commercial & Trading Subholdings. The collaboration between PEPC and PIMD is expected to serve as a benchmark, particularly for other Subholdings within Pertamina Group, to leverage PIMD's presence in enhancing the value of Pertamina's products in international markets. It's worth noting that Pertamina's Eastern Indonesia Regional Subholding Upstream manages upstream oil and gas assets geographically spread across East Java, Sulawesi, Maluku Islands, and Papua, including offshore and onshore assets. Additionally, there is one downstream asset, Donggi Senoro LNG. The working areas under Pertamina's Eastern Indonesia Regional include Zone 11 (Alas Dara Kemuning, Cepu, WMO, Randugunting, Sukowati, Poleng, Tuban East Java), Zone 12 (Jambaran Tiung Biru, Banyu Urip), Zone 13 (Donggi Matindok, Senoro Toili, Makassar Strait), and Zone 14 (Papua, Salawati, Kepala Burung, Babar Selaru, Semai).
