PT Shuoshi Indonesia Investment, a company based in Morowali Regency, successfully completed its first export of ferronickel to Zhapu, China. The inaugural export was dispatched from Huabao Ambunu Wharf on Thursday, May 23. Ferronickel, an alloy of nickel and iron, is a crucial commodity in the global manufacturing industry, particularly in the production of stainless steel. For this export, PT Shuoshi Indonesia Investment shipped a total of 16,311,260 kg, valued at USD 18,948,138.29.
Andi Wahyudi, Head of Internal Compliance and Customs Counseling at Morowali Customs, stated that his team continuously monitors export potential from the Morowali region. "This inaugural export by PT Shuoshi Indonesia Investment is also a testament to our commitment," Andi Wahyudi said in an official statement on Wednesday, May 29. Additionally, Andi Wahyudi mentioned that Morowali Customs supports the downstream processing efforts by PT Shuoshi Indonesia Investment, reinforcing Indonesia's determination to achieve its vision of sustainable and measurable development.
