A significant turnout was observed in Capranica at a conference organized by the Ora Italia Association, focusing on "Gastronomic Tourism – the Power of Food". The aim was to highlight the relationship between tourism and the typical cuisine of the Viterbo territory, involving all professions within the food and wine sector and tourist reception, with the goal of branching out and uniting forces for the development and enhancement of the productive offering promising sectoral revitalization for the Tuscia Viterbese region. During the event, proposals for aggregation and projects were discussed, including one presented by entrepreneur Lavinia Girelli, outlining a "taste itinerary in the villages of Viterbo", which received appreciation from participants, the public, entrepreneurs, and administrative representatives.
Various personalities and professionals were present at the Civic Center Piersanti Mattarella, including Deputies Massimo Milani and Giovanna Miele, Councilor of Municipality I of Rome Stefano Tozzi, national president of Codacons and president of OIC Gianluca Di Ascenzo, president of Assofrutti Pompeo Mascagna, President of Cimina Dolciaria and City Councilor of Capranica Giuseppina Rossi, Director of Cimina Dolciaria Gabriele Carloni, Commissioner of the Lake of Vico Nature Reserve Alessandro Pontuale, Municipal Councilor of Capranica Francesco Virgili, President of the Cooperative "La Regina" di Sutri Francesco Salvitti, and Andrea Antonelli from Locanda Epica. Among the attendees were also the Mayor of Sutri Matteo Amori, the Mayor of Vejano Teresa Pasquali, and the Mayor of Capranica Pietro Nocchi, all of whom were thanked for their hospitality, along with the councilor for culture and tourism of Ronciglione Alessandra Ortensi. The Ora Italia association, the event's creator, participated with national coordinator Gaina Leonzia. The organization was excellently managed by local coordinators Milo Maggini, Lavinia Girelli, and Francesco Virgili, assisted by the Provincial and Regional Coordinator of Ora Italia Fabio Ceccarelli. To conclude, qualified local companies such as Cimina Dolciaria, Alta Tuscia Formaggi, Az. Agricola La Cascina delle Pantene, Panificio F.lli De Luca, Pasticceria Zocchi, Apifarm, Antica Norcineria Bomarsi di Sutri, Vini Caprigliano di Corchiano, and Vini Villa Caviciana di Gradoli offered tastings of their typical local products.
