The "Thailand Industrial Business Matching" event held in Jakarta showcased Thailand's emergence as a key industrial and trade center in Asia, particularly within the ASEAN region. Organized by the Thailand Trade Center Jakarta and the Department of International Trade Promotion, the event aimed to explore trade and investment opportunities between Thailand and Indonesia, focusing on sectors like electronics, construction, and household appliances. Thailand has witnessed six consecutive months of export growth, driven by the electronics sector's resurgence and increased agricultural product exports. The country's GDP is projected to grow at an average annual rate of 3.4% between 2024 and 2026, signaling significant progress from previous years. The event facilitated discussions on market prospects and potential collaborations between Thai and Indonesian companies. It included face-to-face meetings between Thai entrepreneurs, primarily from the electronics and household appliance sectors, and their Indonesian counterparts. Around 20 Thai business representatives participated in the event, supported by various Indonesian industry associations.
