PT KKBrothers Renewable Energy signed a collaboration agreement for the export and distribution of electric motorcycles with Global EV, Co., Ltd (Cambodia) and Greentech EV Sdn, Bhd (Malaysia-Philippines). Milton Pakpahan, the President Commissioner of PT KKBrothers Renewable Energy, highlighted the significance of this agreement for exporting Indonesian-made electric motorcycles to Cambodia, the Philippines, and Malaysia, marking the company's debut in the ASEAN neighboring markets. He emphasized the long-standing cooperation with these countries and the high demand for electric motorcycles, aligning with the growing trend towards green clean energy. The export to Cambodia, the Philippines, and Malaysia commenced in early April 2024, with plans for further expansion into African markets and other countries with significant demand for electric motorcycles.
Dato' Ir. Tee Chai Seng, Director of Global EV, expressed his optimism about the collaboration, thanking all parties involved for making the agreement possible. General Chairman of the Indonesian Electric Motorcycle Industry Association (AISMOLI), Police Inspector General (Ret.) Budi Setiyadi, lauded the collaboration as a strategic sales move, emphasizing Indonesia's immense potential as an electric motorcycle hub, evidenced by the presence of 40 electric motorcycle factories since 2019. The memorandum of understanding was signed by Eiko Sihombing, Director of PT KK Brothers Renewable Energy, and Mrs. Meuren Srey Net + Dato Tee Chai Seng, in the presence of Danto Restyawan, Director of Road Transportation Facilities at the Ministry of Transportation.
