Wakil Presiden (Wapres) K.H. He stressed that development challenges extend beyond mere economic growth to ensuring that growth benefits all segments of society. Speaking at the Banten Halal Festival Ramadhan event, Wapres Ma’ruf Amin emphasized the crucial role of the government and all stakeholders in promoting tangible welfare development and enhancing Indonesia's contribution to global development, particularly through Sharia economics and finance. He urged for continued efforts in promoting Sharia economics and finance on a national scale, emphasizing the importance of regional-level policy implementation to increase public literacy and participation. Wapres Ma’ruf Amin commended positive initiatives by local governments and the Sharia Economic and Financial District Committee (KDEKS) to advance Sharia economics and finance.
Furthermore, he expressed hope that events like the Banten Halal Festival Ramadhan would yield concrete results, particularly in enhancing Banten's contribution to the global halal industry. Siti Ma’rifah, Chairperson of the Banten Sharia Economic and Financial District Committee (KDEKS), highlighted Banten's strategic position and vast potential for the growth of new industries, especially in halal-based sectors such as culinary, fashion, tourism, and Sharia finance. The event was attended by prominent figures including Wakil Ketua Dewan Perwakilan Daerah (DPD) Nono Sampono, Bupati Tangerang Andi Ony, Komisaris Menara Syariah Harianto Solichin, and representatives from various institutions.
