The Tangerang City Government, through the Investment and One-Stop Integrated Service Agency (DPMPTSP), has reported a notable achievement in investment for the year 2023, reaching IDR 14.99 trillion, surpassing the set target of IDR 9.67 trillion in the Regional Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMD) for 2023 by 155.05%. This accomplishment exceeds the investment achievement in 2022, which amounted to IDR 13.05 trillion, exceeding the target of IDR 9.21 trillion. The substantial investment figures indicate a growing confidence among investors in Tangerang City, known for its strong ethical values, making it an attractive destination for business ventures. The four largest contributing sectors to Tangerang City's investment value in 2023 include Housing, Industrial and Office Zones, Other Service Sectors, Chemical and Pharmaceutical Industry, and the Transportation, Warehouse, and Telecommunication Sector. Tangerang City's diverse resources, infrastructure development, and ongoing progress remain appealing to investors, both Domestic Direct Investment (PMDN) and Foreign Direct Investment (PMA), seeking to invest in this ethically renowned city.
Taufik Syahzaeni, the Head of DPMPTSP, highlighted that the comprehensive investment realization for the RPJMD period of 2019-2023 targeted IDR 42.27 trillion, with an outstanding realization of IDR 57 trillion, achieving 155.05%. Taufik provided a breakdown of the yearly investments, showing a consistent increase from IDR 7.97 trillion in 2019 to IDR 14.99 trillion in 2023. Several factors have contributed to the increased investment in Tangerang City. Firstly, the local government's meticulous supervision and guidance regarding reporting procedures have been instrumental in creating accurate on-field data.
