Malang Customs Partners with Dinikoe Ceramic MSMEs to Serve Bond Shoji Japan's Export Needs

Customs Office in Malang collaborates with Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Dinikoe Ceramics to welcome a visit from Japanese company Bond Shoji. This partnership aims to promote the export of MSME products from Malang to Japan, facilitated through Bond Shoji Co Ltd. Dwi Prasetyorini SE, Head of Information and Counseling Division at Malang Customs Office, disclosed that Bond Shoji Co Ltd is a Japanese buyer seeking gardening-related UMKM products in Indonesia. Notably, Malang is the second city they have visited after Batu. Ceramics, crucial for gardening, are among the highlighted products. Thus, Dinikoe Ceramics was recommended as a potential supplier due to its extensive product range. The initiative, supported by Malang City's Department of Industry and Trade, aims to explore export opportunities to Japan. To facilitate UMKM exports, the government provides support through various programs, including Export Ease and Import Duty Relief. These initiatives aim to encourage exports and strengthen the Indonesian Rupiah.

Malang Customs Office's Export Clinic Program, in collaboration with Japanese Attaché from the Ministry of Finance and Customs, aims to assist UMKM in exporting Malang products. This initiative aligns with the National Economic Recovery Program (PEN), aiming to boost UMKM exports, which can contribute significantly to the economy. Farid Suaidi, Head of the Micro Business Division at Malang's Department of Cooperatives, Industry, and Trade (Diskopindag), hopes this program will support the growth of Malang's Ceramic Center. Owner of Dinikoe Ceramics, Nurhayati Setyarini, expressed gratitude for the opportunity, emphasizing the interest shown by the Japanese buyer in specific ceramic products like mugs and flower pots. She highlighted the importance of secure packaging to ensure customer satisfaction. Nurhayati emphasized the potential benefits of this program in empowering the community and increasing foreign exchange reserves. She hopes to secure export orders, not only for economic gains but also to ensure the stability of her employees' livelihoods. Overall, this initiative holds promise for fostering economic growth in Malang by leveraging its ceramic industry and promoting MSME exports to international markets like Japan.
