The Department of Youth and Sports (Dispora) in Bandung proudly announces the success of its Camp Entrepreneur (Cempor) program, revealing that businesses fostered through this initiative have already penetrated international export markets. This achievement is deemed commendable, marking a significant milestone. Head of Dispora in Bandung, Edi Marwoto, stated that the Cempor program, focused on nurturing young entrepreneurs, has been ongoing for a year. During this period, 11 training sessions were conducted for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) under the program, and noteworthy progress has been observed, with some participants expanding their ventures to international exports.
"Some have already reached the export stage, which is extraordinary. It's only been a few months, but the progress is evident," mentioned Edi during the Cempor RENDEZVOUS 2023 event at Festival Citylink Mall in Bandung on Sunday, November 19, 2023.
Cempor, inaugurated in 2022, stands as one of Dispora Bandung's flagship programs, serving as a platform for the development of youth through training for budding entrepreneurs.
