The Investment and Integrated One-Stop Service Agency (DPMPTSP) of Lampung Province records that the investment realization in the region has reached IDR 7.9 trillion until the third quarter of 2023. Yudhi Alfadri, the Head of DPMPTSP Lampung Province, stated, "The investment realization in Lampung until the third quarter totals IDR 7.9 trillion, compared to the target set by the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) of IDR 11 trillion." The IDR 7.9 trillion investment realization is divided into IDR 2.6 trillion in foreign direct investment (PMA) and IDR 5.2 trillion in domestic investment (PMDN). "The overall investment realization achievement from the first to the third quarter is 71.85% of the set target. Quarterly, the investment achievement is as follows: IDR 3.2 trillion in the first quarter (January-March 2023), IDR 2.7 trillion in the second quarter (April-June), and IDR 1.9 trillion in the third quarter (July-September)," he added.
Breaking down the PMA realization, it is IDR 1.1 trillion in the first quarter, IDR 725 billion in the second quarter, and IDR 751 billion in the third quarter. For the PMDN realization, it is IDR 2 trillion in the first quarter, IDR 2 trillion in the second quarter, and IDR 1.1 trillion in the third quarter. "To enhance investment realization, we continue to conduct outreach to businesses, encouraging increased investment opportunities while ensuring the reporting of investment activities through available applications to record all investment activities," he stated. He noted that many businesses still lack an understanding of the investment reporting mechanism, leading to missed opportunities for detailed recording. Hence, routine outreach and technical guidance on the reporting process through the Investment Activity Report (LKPM) are provided to businesses unfamiliar with the procedure. "Businesses, aside from striving for profit, must report their activities through LKPM. This way, we can tangibly observe the investment development in Lampung Province through the Investment Activity Report in the BKPM application," he emphasized.
