Ginger farmers in Malang Regency have managed to produce export-quality products. Ginger products from Jenggolo Village, Kepanjen Subdistrict, successfully penetrated the export market in the Arabian Peninsula. Through the exporter PT Delapan Ladang Emas, a total of 40 tons of ginger were exported to Dubai, the United Arab Emirates (UAE). These numerous tons of ginger were transported using two container trucks, with a total export value reaching IDR 1,040,000,000. Dwi Prasetyo Rini, Head of the Extension and Information Services Section of the Malang Customs Office, stated that various parties are continually striving to promote the export of products abroad. This includes the Export Clinic of the Malang Customs Office. "The Malang Customs Office Export Clinic will remain committed to assisting SMEs in realizing their exports," he said on Wednesday, November 1, 2023.

The two containers carrying a total of 40 tons of ginger were dispatched on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, from the Jenggolo Village Office in Kepanjen Subdistrict, Malang Regency. "From this, it is hoped that new exporters will emerge and maintain the continuity of exports from the Malang Raya region," explained Dwi Prasetyo Rini. Meanwhile, Malang Regency Vice Regent Didik Gatot Subroto mentioned that the local government will continue to support export activities, both in terms of licensing and seeking funding assistance. "For exports, the local government will continue to encourage the results of this cultivation to be exported," he stated.
