The Purbalingga Regency Government commends CV Bunga Palm for successfully exporting 150 tons of organic coconut sugar to the United States on Thursday, October 26, 2023. It is hoped that the sustainable export of organic coconut sugar from Purbalingga will not only benefit local entrepreneurs but also improve the well-being of the sugar tappers they support. Purbalingga Regent, Dyah Hayuning Pratiwi, mentioned, "We anticipate that local entrepreneurs can further expand their export targets, not limited to the American market," as reported on Sunday, October 29, 2023. The Purbalingga Regency Government highly appreciates this achievement in coconut sugar marketing, especially since Purbalingga was previously recognized as a regency/local government that supports exports by the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia (Primaniyarta Award).
The regency government remains committed to synergizing with local entrepreneurs to open doors for marketing Purbalingga's products in international markets. "In the future, we are ready to collaborate with local entrepreneurs because we don't just have organic coconut sugar. We also have coffee, eyelashes, and we encourage their export growth," the Regent added. Dikta Zanwar Arifin, the General Manager of CV Bunga Palm, shared that their organic coconut sugar is crafted using raw materials from 160 supported sugar tappers, most of whom are from Tangkisan Village, Mrebet Sub-District. Their coconut sugar production has also been exported to other countries, including the Czech Republic, Malaysia, Singapore, the Netherlands, and the United Arab Emirates. He emphasized that orders from these advanced countries are possible due to the high-quality organic coconut sugar they produce. Prospective buyers can often evaluate the product's quality based on the provided samples.
