The "Aceh Gayo Sustainable Investment Dialogue" (AGASID) is a significant investment forum in Aceh, organized by Bank Indonesia's Aceh Provincial Representative Office and the Aceh Investment and Integrated One-Stop Service Office. This year's AGASID, held under the theme "Strengthening Aceh's Economy Through Sustainable Investment and Value Added Commodities," focuses on fostering sustainable investments and value-added commodities, which are expected to accelerate Aceh's economic growth. The event aims to promote robust and inclusive economic growth in Aceh and has received positive responses from various stakeholders.
During the opening address, Rony Widijarto P highlighted the six main challenges encountered during the process of adding value to key commodities, emphasizing the need for a mature agricultural value chain to drive economic development. AGASID 2023 was attended by various dignitaries and aimed to enhance coordination and synergy among government agencies to promote investment in Aceh. The event included activities such as investment panel discussions, debottlenecking forums, business matching, business pitching, investment project showcases, and SME expos. Despite the challenges, AGASID 2023 strives to address these issues and stimulate investment in Aceh.
