Minahasa Regency continues to attract investors, as evident in its investment realization for the third quarter of 2023, which not only increased but also exceeded the target. By the end of September, or the third quarter, the total investment that flowed into Minahasa reached IDR 153,296,598,336 billion, or 219%. This figure significantly surpasses the total investment value target set by the North Sulawesi Provincial Government, which was IDR 70 billion. According to data from the Investment and Integrated One-Stop Service Office (DPMPTSP) of Minahasa Regency, investment realization is predominantly in the Domestic Direct Investment (PMDN) sector, with contributions from Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) totaling IDR 1,364,380,000 trillion. Meanwhile, non-MSMEs contributed IDR 151,110,817,247 billion. Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) from non-MSMEs amounted to IDR 821,401,062 billion.
Head of the Investment and Integrated One-Stop Service Office (DPMPTSP) of Minahasa Regency, Mekry Sondey SE, stated that the substantial amount of investment coming in is a result of the ease and speed of the licensing process. The investment realization data is based on the online reporting of investment activities by business actors through the Online Single Submission Risk-Based Approach (OSS RBA) or risk-based business licensing. Not all business actors have reported yet. Despite the increased investment target, the DPMPTSP of Minahasa Regency remains optimistic that investment achievements will continue to rise. DPMPTSP will continue to conduct outreach and provide guidance to other business actors who have not reported via the online LKPM application. If there are any difficulties when reporting through the LKPM application, they should come directly to the Investment and Integrated One-Stop Service Office. As of September 2023, business permits processed through OSS-RBA have issued 1,324 Business Identification Numbers (NIB) with 8,953 employees hired and a total investment value of IDR 1.091 trillion. Meanwhile, manually processed permits include 93 business permits, 650 non-business permits, and 75 non-permits. There are 306 permits processed through SIM-BG.
