Sensatia Botanicals, a local organic cosmetic product from Bali recorded export sales of 30%. The sales rose after the COVID-19 pandemic. However, domestic sales still dominate, amounting to 70%. Sales & Marketing Manager Kunti Puspita Sari, said 30% is just the increase. Before the pandemic, exports had never been that big. Kunti said since its inception in 2018, Sensatia Botanicals has focused on the export market. In 2013, it began to distribute domestically. (It was) started from bar soap from coconut oil and our main markets at that time were America and Japan, until it began to develop until now
Export markets began to grow over time, including Japan, Turkey, Malaysia, Taiwan, and the Middle East (Qatar, Dubai, and several other countries). Meanwhile, the marketing target of herbal beauty products is more targeted at millennials aged 25 years and over. But it does not rule out the possibility of generation Z as well, due to awareness of the importance of skin health. Cosmetics, which has a factory in Karangasem, Bali, already has 250 products, from personal care to mother and baby. Sensatia Botanicals also has a total of 29 stores throughout Indonesia, 16 of which are in Bali.
