KBR I Phnom Penh has just held the 14th integrated trade, tourism and education exhibition "Indonesian Trade and Tourism Promotion" (ITTP) at Diamond Island Convention and Exhibition Center (4-6/8), Phnom Penh. In the integrated exhibition, there were 19 exhibitors from Indonesia and 25 participants who were distributors and importers of Indonesian products and Indonesian culinary business owners in Cambodia. The 14th ITTP was opened jointly by Chhuon Dara, Minister Delegates Attached to the Prime Minister and Secretary of State of the Cambodian Ministry of Trade, Thong Rathasak, Secretary of State of the Cambodian Ministry of Tourism, and Lauti Nia Astri, Chargé d'Affaires of the Indonesian Embassy in Phnom Penh. KUAI RI said that the theme of the 14th ITTP, namely "Strengthen Cooperation Through Collaboration" reflects Indonesia's determination to further strengthen, deepen, and improve relations with Cambodia in the fields of trade, tourism, higher education, arts and culture. This ITTP event presents participants from the fields of consumer goods, furniture, digital content, pharmaceuticals, construction, tourism, and higher education who offer various types of scholarships for Cambodian students.
The 14th ITTP event succeeded in recording a number of trade commitments, including the signing of 3 MoUs of Trade Agreements between PT Perusahaan Perdagangan Indonesia and Ung Kheang Group Co., Ltd., PT Wahyu Bunga Nusantara with TrueHome Co., Ltd. and PT. Kimia Farma with K-1000 Trading Co. Ltd. The value of direct transactions (on-site sales) during the 3 days of the exhibition is estimated to reach USD 22,000 with total potential transactions reaching USD 1 million, especially from cooking oil products, furniture, pharmaceuticals, processed foods and travel packages.
