Crude Palm Oil (CPO) exports have become the largest contributor to the Aceh region's Original Local Revenue (PAD). It accounts for approximately 66.38% or IDR 35.79 billion as of June 30th. The Head of the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Customs and Excise (Kanwil DJBC) in Aceh stated that Aceh's total revenue reached 103.17% or IDR 53.91 billion as of June 30th. He explained that the second largest revenue comes from import duties on BULOG, Bitumen Oil, and Plastic Bags. This sector contributes 33.07% or IDR 17.83 billion to the total revenue of the Kanwil DJBC Aceh. The remaining revenue comes from excise duties, amounting to 0.52% or IDR 0.28 billion.
Meanwhile, in terms of drug enforcement, there were seizures of 903 kilograms of methamphetamine and 450 kilograms of marijuana. In cyber crawling operations, there were 15 cases related to synthetic tobacco products, alprazolam, tramadol, and 7.8 kilograms of marijuana, as well as 265 cases involving tobacco products weighing 2.9 oin and 29 cases related to beverages containing ethyl alcohol (MMEA) weighing 316 kilograms. From the enforcement of illicit tobacco products in the first semester of this year, the estimated total value is IDR 2.37 billion, with an estimated total state loss of IDR 1.49 billion and administrative penalties amounting to IDR 14.99 million.
