The Minister of Trade, Zulkifli Hasan was a speaker at the East Java Nahdliyin Entrepreneurs Association (HPN) Business Forum with the theme "Expanding Indonesian Business Market Access to World Muslim Countries" in Surabaya, East Java, Friday (17 Feb).
The Minister of Trade said that the Ministry of Trade continues to strive to maintain export performance, among others by opening up new potential markets to non-traditional countries, such as countries in the Middle East and Africa.
The Trade Minister added that increasing market access for Indonesian export products was also intensified through trade negotiations. In addition, this is done through promotional activities to introduce Indonesian products, such as exhibitions, trade missions, business matching or other promotional activities.
The Trade Minister hopes that this business forum can assist HPN members in expanding market access and increasing product productivity and competitiveness in the global market.
On this occasion, the Minister of Trade was accompanied by the Director General of Foreign Trade, Budi Santoso.
