The Minister of Trade of Saudi Arabia Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi promised to improve and increase Saudi trade cooperation with Indonesia. Including, immediately signing the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA).
This cannot be separated from the friendship between Trade Minister Zulhas and Majid. Zulhas' style managed to build very good relations with Saudi Arabia's top officials, nobles and ministers.
“I consider Minister Zulkifli as my own brother. I will take you directly to Al-Ula. God willing, the relationship between Saudi Arabia and Indonesia will get better and closer in the future," said Trade Minister Majid, Wednesday (25/1/2023).
Zulhas also felt honored to be given special treatment by Trade Minister Majid. The Minister of Trade also had a special treat by the Minister of Trade Majid at the Diryah Historical District, Riyadh. The Medina-Riyadh journey takes 55 minutes using Majid's private jet.
The special relationship between Majid and Zulhas is not only good news for both parties, but has an impact on trade between the two countries.
Seeing the close relations between the two, the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the Saudi chamber of commerce gave a positive response. The group of six Gulf countries promised to resolve various trade barriers that have been occurring between Saudi Arabia and Indonesia.

He is an Arab nobleman from both his parents' and his wife's family lines. Currently, Majid is one of the few Saudi ministers allowed to hold concurrent positions. His position is very influential in the government of Prince MBS.
Receiving a visit from the Minister of Trade Zulhas, Majid promised to improve and enhance trade relations with Indonesia.
