Haerudin as a member of Commission IV DPR RI from the PAN appreciated the performance and achievement of the Ministry of Agriculture in improving the welfare of farmers over the past four years. According to Haerudin, this can be seen from BPS data regarding Farmers' Terms of Trade (FTT/NTP), which have increased from year to year.
"First, we would certainly appreciate the Ministry of Agriculture and of course our highest appreciation to our farmers, where the exchange rate for our farmers has increased by 0.50 percent," said Haerudin in a working meeting with the Minister of Agriculture Syahrul Yasin Limpo, Monday, January 16, 2023 .
Haerudin said, this achievement was a joint target of various existing program implementations. He wants this achievement to continue to increase and become a strong capital in increasing food security.
"Our target is the measuring level of farmers' welfare increases. So we, from the PAN faction, with great respect, the food fighters in all corners of the archipelago, we congratulate you because this is the release of BPS on November 1 NTP 107.81 or up 0, 50 percent," he said.
Another Commission IV member from the PKS faction, Andi Akmal Pasliddin appreciated the Ministry of Agriculture's 2022 budget performance which reached 95 percent. On the other hand, Pasluddin also appreciated the increase in the production of various main commodities that had been carried out over the last four years.
"If we look at the statistical data, our production has increased for a number of commodities, especially rice and corn. I think this is why the budget has fallen but production has continued to increase. One answer is because we have seen that you have succeeded in KUR, with an extraordinary up to 90 trillion absorption. This indicates that the agricultural sector has been trusted by the banking sector," he said.
Member of Commission IV of the Nasdem Fraction, Abdullah Tuasikal appreciated the achievements of the Ministry of Agriculture in being able to properly absorb the realization of the 2022 budget. According to Tuasikal, this is proof that agriculture under the leadership of SYL is much stronger and all of its programs are on target.
"The Nasdem faction appreciates the performance of the Ministry of Agriculture in 2022 with budget realization reaching approximately 95.15 percent," he explained.
