"Various policies have been rolled out by the government to encourage exports and ensure the availability of raw materials from the supply side by increasing industrial competitiveness and productivity. In addition, from the demand side, we support expanding market access and reducing barriers," said Director General of Agro Industry Putu Juli Ardika Tuesday (29/11). One of the efforts made is to increase exports of spices and seasonings. As well as, the development of Indonesian restaurants abroad. The program's target until 2024 is the export value of spices and herbs to USD 2 billion. In addition, there are 4 thousand Indonesian restaurants abroad. The cooking aid industry can take advantage of the global production chain by continuing to improve product innovation, packaging and branding so that food and beverage products produced in Indonesia can be accepted by the world market.
