Vespa Indonesia through PT Piaggio Indonesia has made another breakthrough, by launching a product in collaboration with Italian motorcycle technology, with local Indonesian wisdom, namely Vespa Batik whose engine base uses Vespa LX125 i-get. The presence of the Vespa LX 125 i-get Batik edition marks the start of production of Vespa motorcycles made in Cikarang. Because it was launched with historic momentum, the Vespa LX 125 i-get Batik edition is sold at a price of IDR 77 million (OTR Jadetabek), as stated on the official website, the price is more expensive at IDR 36.5 million when compared to the standard Vespa LX 125 i-get, which is now sold at IDR 40.5 million.
In addition, this special edition motorcycle is very thick with Indonesian nuances, this can be seen from the use of batik motifs in the tie area, front compartment, footrest, to Vespa tepong. Vespa LX 125 i-get batik, uses seven motifs that are symbols of diversity from Sabang to Merauke Some of the motifs used are Shield (Kalimantan), Megamendung (West Java), Cassowary Chicken (Papua), Sokowani (Sumatra), Menjangan Ikat Weaving (Nusa Tenggara), Kawung (Central Java), and Poleng (Bali). Regarding the use of color, this Vespa LX 125 i-get uses a Green Relax kelir, besides that there is a top box and a helmet with the same batik pattern as the motorcycle. Not to forget the "Vespa Batik" plate badge attached which makes this bike feel even more exclusive. There is no difference from the runway sector, meaning that this Vespa LX 125 i-get still uses an i-get, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, three-valve engine with a capacity of 124.5 cc. The engine's ability on paper can put out a maximum power of 7.6 kW at 7,600 rpm and 10.2 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm.
