KKP Releases 25 Tons of Loin Tuna to Thailand

The Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (KKP) exported 25 tonnes of tuna loin from Ternate, North Maluku to Thailand. Strengthening the marketing of fishery products, including through the export of loin tuna, shows the KKP's commitment to making fish a solution to world food security. "As Minister Trenggono said that fish can be a solution to food security, we imply this by releasing exports of tuna worth IDR 5 billion," said Head of the Fish Quarantine Agency, Quality Control and Safety of Fishery Products, Pamuji Lestari in Jakarta, Monday (28/11/ 2022). Tari said his staff had internalized Minister Trenggono's policies by conducting quality assurance. And the release of exports on Tuesday, November 22 in Ternate is clear evidence of BKIPM's support for government programs. "Through quality assurance, we minimize rejection of Indonesian products and show that our products are of high quality," he said. Meanwhile, the Head of SKIPM Ternate, Arsal, detailed that the export of tuna was carried out after the mentoring process for CV Mitra Tuna Mandiri. In synergy with Ternate Customs and Excise, the first export of tuna loin was carried out at the Ternate Archipelago Fishery Port and was officially released by the Deputy Governor of North Maluku.
