Bambang said the agricultural products were exported to China, Japan, Vietnam, the Philippines and various other countries. According to him, the key to export success is the fruit of the commitment of regional leaders. "In addition, the increase in exports is the synergy of many parties from upstream to downstream, and we as agricultural trade instruments will continue to optimally support export-oriented agricultural commodities," said Bambang. Bambang also said that the increase in exports was also a reflection of the comparative advantage in the successful development of agricultural development in the regions.
"For that we appreciate the Mayor of Dumai, farmers, planters and business people from Riau Province, especially Dumai in accelerating agricultural exports," he said. This is in line with the strategic task given by the Minister of Agriculture, Syahrul Yasin Limpo, to Barantan in accelerating the increase in exports, the Threefold Export Movement (Gratieks). Meanwhile, the Mayor of Dumai, Paisal, expressed his high appreciation for overseeing agricultural development in his area. He also conveyed the strategic location of the region so that the investment trend "Please support Dumai to build a container port, so that processed agricultural products from Riau can be directly exported without going through Medan," said Paisal. For information, the Head of Riau Agricultural Quarantine, Almen Simarmata said from IQFAST data, the export trend from Bumi Lancang Kuning has increased significantly. In 2021 it will be valued at IDR 39.42 trillion, an increase of 15.4% compared to 2020 which only reached IDR 34.14 trillion.
