The Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) for Papua Province stated that cumulatively Papua's exports to six main countries from January to October 2022 were valued at USD 3,636.13 million, an increase of 44.14% compared to the same period in 2021. BPS Distribution Statistics Function Coordinator Papua Akhmad Fauzi, in Jayapura, Wednesday, said that in the previous period, namely January to October 2021, Papua's exports to six main countries were valued at USD 2,522.60 million. Apart from that, Papua's exports to other countries have also increased from USD 993.95 million in January to October 2021 to USD 1,591.85 million. The largest export in October 2022 came from the port of Amamapare, which was valued at USD 350.20 or 98.75 percent of Papua's total exports. With that in mind, Papua's cumulative total exports from January to October 2022 were valued at USD 5,227.98, an increase of 48.67% compared to total exports in the same period in 2021. Papua's exports to the six main countries are Spain, Japan, the Philippines, Korea South, India and China.
