Minister of Trade Zulkifli Hasan reviewed the 'Pride of Indonesia' digital exhibition at the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center (BNDCC), Badung, Bali today. According to him, the side event exhibition which was held during the G20 Summit was a testament to the excellence and progress of the nation's products. "It is hoped that Pride of Indonesia will become one of the focuses of the world's attention, especially the invitees who attended the peak of the G20 Indonesia Presidency event in Bali. Pride of Indonesia can be used to show the various progress that Indonesia has made to the world and become the starting point for restoring confidence in post-pandemic economic actors, both from within the country and abroad," said Zulkifli in a written statement, Monday (11/14/2022).
As is known, the Pride of Indonesia exhibition is a digital exhibition that displays the superior works of the nation's children in digital form. This exhibition is a medium to introduce and promote the creative potential of Indonesian human resources, product advantages, both multimedia and physical with the aim of increasing world interest and awareness of Indonesia in the fields of trade, tourism, and investment. Pride of Indonesia features four multimedia areas that showcase Indonesia's achievements and innovations related to the three G20 agenda issues, namely global health architecture, digital transformation, and sustainable energy transition. On the theme of global health architecture, Pride of Indonesia presented several sessions, including the COVID-19 screening tool by Biofarma and Indovac '1st covid vaccine produced in Indonesia'. While on the theme of digital transformation, this exhibition featured sessions on digital companies made in Indonesia, transformation of interactive digital screens, and digital infrastructure. Furthermore, the sustainable energy transition theme features solar panel system products, interactive sustainable energy transition screens, and Indonesian electric vehicle startups. During his visit to BNDCC, the minister who is called Zulhas also saw the Digital Transformation Expo (DTE) technology exhibition firsthand. At this exhibition, he reviewed the four strategic pillars of Indonesia's digital transformation, namely digital infrastructure, digital governance, digital society, and the digital economy. He assessed that the Indonesian government needed to take over in digital transformation. Given the current digitalization has grown rapidly, including in terms of trade. "Digital transformation must be taken and studied because it involves changes around the world. Digitalization changes people's lifestyles in shopping. Therefore, this is very important for the Ministry of Trade. For this reason, micro, small and medium enterprises if they want to develop must enter digital market workshop. I appreciate this exhibition and welcome it positively," he concluded.
