The Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) launched a program to expand employment opportunities through the assistance of Independent Workers or TKM. This year the TKM Expo was held at Vatulemo Field, Palu City, Central Sulawesi. This event carries the name Maleo Expo 2022 and has been running since November 9, 2022, attended by 300 MSMEs and independent activists. "Currently, what the community needs most is capital, training, assistance and the courage to start the production of goods or services and marketing them, especially for MSME actors and groups of Independent Workers (TKM) spread throughout Indonesia," said the Special Staff of the Ministry of Manpower, Risharyudi Triwibowo in his written statement, Friday (11/11/2022).
According to him, it is very important to be an entrepreneur and continue to create new jobs. Especially in the post-pandemic era, many people of working age are confused about finding job vacancies. It is hoped that this event will have an impact on improving the economy, a little stimulating MSME actors and business transactions between MSME actors, TKM groups and the visiting community. Big businessmen are also expected to help in terms of product marketing. "The TKM Expo is very positive and has important benefits in developing local business potential so they can promote their products to a wider environment by utilizing today's digital technology," he explained. Risharyudi hopes that MSME actors, especially business groups receiving the TKM program, make the best use of training and capital assistance, so that in the future the number of MSME business actors can take on even better roles.
