Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo released the export of superior products from micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) from Surakarta City to France. The export release, which is the result of a collaboration between the Surakarta City Government, Sebelas Maret State University (UNS), and Bank Jateng took place at Solo Techno Park, Surakarta, Wednesday. Export products in the form of handicrafts, furniture, textiles, and fashion products from the two MSMEs will later be exhibited at La Maison de I'indonesie in Paris. Ganjar Pranowo said that the cooperation of several parties to encourage export development is an example that can be replicated by other regions. "Universities have research, have students, then have the concept of independent learning. Just practice, the system can be replicated," he said. According to him, universities can move to support a number of MSMEs and then be curated, so that quality products can be promoted and exported.
"Hopefully this collaboration will become a model. I believe the pattern is not enough to just display an exhibition but must sell it, so today's theme is from expo to export. I think that's the best," he said. In addition, he continued, the government also facilitated, especially through major collaborations abroad, one of which was by buying shops and turning them into Indonesian homes. "So people will get used to that they need something uniquely Indonesian, they know where to go. "This former member of the Indonesian House of Representatives also emphasized that funding for MSMEs is an easy thing because currently Bank Jateng is ready with various existing credit schemes.
