"Basically, from Q1 to Q3 2022 compared to the same period as 2021, the Indonesian economy grew 5.4%," said Head of BPS, Margo Yuwono, in a virtual press conference, Monday, November 7, 2022. Margo also said that the economy is starting to grow. recovered and grew stronger capable of absorbing a workforce of 4.25 million people. Meanwhile, there was also an increase in the workforce of 3.57 million people—based on a survey in August 2022.
Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto explained that Indonesia's economic growth reached 5.72 percent in the third quarter of 2022 year on year (YoY). He said Indonesian households also grew quite 5.39 percent in the third quarter of 2022 year on year (YoY).
