The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Bali Province noted that in September 2022, the value of Bali Province's exports of goods abroad recorded an increase of 8.92% (m-t-m), from USD 50,800,636 in August 2022 to USD 55,331,460 in September 2022. When compared to September 2021 (y-o-y), Bali's export value in September 2022 was recorded to have increased by 35.45%. Of the top 5 export destinations for Bali in September 2022, the value of exports to Taiwan recorded the highest increase month to month (172.57%). Head of BPS Bali Hanif Yahya said the increase was mainly due to increased exports of fish, crustacean and mollusc products (HS 03). The cumulative export value in the January-September 2022 period was recorded at USD 455,659,310, an increase of 27.22% compared to the same period in the previous year. In line with Bali's exports, the import performance of Bali Province in September 2022 also showed an increase. The value of imports of goods from Bali Province from abroad in September 2022 was recorded at USD 10,708,467, an increase of 23.90% compared to August 2022 (m-t-m) which was recorded at USD 8,642,616. On a year on year basis, the import value of Bali Province in September 2022 was recorded to increase as high as 344.00%. Of the top 5 import origin countries in September 2022, the value of imports from Australia recorded the highest increase month to month (150.88%), which was mainly due to the increase in imports of air vehicle products and their parts (HS 88). Cumulatively, the import value in the January-September 2022 period was recorded at USD 56,556,852, an increase of 101.72% compared to the previous year period.
