The Customs and Excise of Siduarjo - Mojokerto Regency Government Launches Export of USD 25,000 Briquettes to Turkey

The Customs of Siduarjo and Mojokerto Regency Government inaugurated the launch of the export of briquette products to Turkey. The launch was marked by the breaking of the jug in front of the container. The agenda for the export launch was held in front of the PT. Ajinomoto, Tbk, Jetis District, Mojokerto Regency, Wednesday (10/25/2022). The launch was carried out directly by the Head of the Customs and Excise Supervision and Service Office of Type B Intermediate Customs (KPPBC) Sidoarjo, Pantjoro Agung. "We from the government side of course provide facilitation, trade facilities and Industrial Assistance, we provide assistance," he said to the media crew, Wednesday (10/25/2022). He said that this program was in line with the central government's program to make Indonesian MSMEs level up. One of them is the industry assistance program. "This is also in line with the government's program, how MSMEs can penetrate the global market, in international trade, so that the goals of community welfare are to absorb labor and improve people's welfare," he said. Pantjoro Agung said it was a common problem faced by MSME players when they wanted to export. Namely constrained by buyers, (buyers) from abroad. "One of the problems faced by MSMEs is the presence of buyers. Therefore, in this case, we are collaborating with the regional government and the provincial government to look for them together," he said.
In this case, Customs and Excise also encourage Customs and Excise offices abroad to support finding buyers for MSME actors in the country. "Customs also has representatives abroad. They are in Singapore, Tokyo, and Hong Kong, we invite them to introduce Indonesian products," he said.

The Customs and Excise of Siduarjo party came to Mojokerto Regency to send the export of briquette products. This briquette product was shipped with a value of USD 25 thousand. "Today we launched an export departure from CV. Indianindo produces briquettes from coconut shells. We will export this to Turkey with an export value of USD 25 thousand," he said. His party has also provided assistance related to increasing the MSME class in its working area such as Mojokerto Regency, Mojokerto City, Sidoarjo Regency, and Surabaya City. "We have provided the most assistance from Sidoarjo Regency, the second most from Mojokerto Regency, such as food and handicrafts, all of which we encourage," said Pantjoro Agung. "A month ago we combined our 8 MSMEs into one to export to China, we hope this will continue," he continued.
Pantjoro Agung also added that the national export target had exceeded the target. After this, his party will continue to encourage exports to increase ahead of the fourth quarter of the Indonesian economy. "The national target has been achieved. Nationally, the current export value is approximately USD 30 billion, this is an increase of 32% from last year on a year-on-year basis," he concluded. Separately, the owner of CV. Indinindo, Eka Meidayanti said that his party was grateful to the Mojokerto Regency Government (Pemkab). In this case, represented by the Department of Industry and Trade (Disperindag) Mojokerto Regency. Eka stated that this product with its brand was the first to be exported. Made in Indonesia, Mojokerto. This coconut shell charcoal briquette product has the brand name Silverco. In the form of a box with a weight of 1 kg with a total of 64 cubes of briquettes. Eka admitted that Europe is currently hit by an energy crisis. Therefore, they are looking for alternative energy that is used for heating, barbecuing, shisha herbal cigarettes, and other needs. Europe is deliberately looking for this product to reduce carbon emissions due to air pollution. Eka stated that this renewable energy opportunity is very promising. Especially considering the current global market. One of them is the high number of requests from Europe. "If this can be successful, then we and the buyer can get 200 tons per month. Right now, because it's still in its prime, it's still only 18 tons. If you look at Europe's huge needs, once a European buyer here asked for 50 thousand tons for one month, one ship," she concluded.
