PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) officially cooperates with PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Sumatera Utara (Bank Sumut) in an effort to provide digital services for the agricultural sector through the Agree platform. This step was marked by the signing of a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) between the Executive Vice President of Telkom's Enterprise Service Division, Teuku Muda Nanta; and President Director of Bank Sumut, Rahmat Fadillah Pohan, last week. The scope of cooperation in providing the Agree platform for Bank Sumut includes piloting the implementation of service utilization, providing guidance, operational implementation, and maintenance. It is hoped that this collaboration can create benefits for both parties in supporting business and supporting the development of the agricultural ecosystem in the future. At the partnership inauguration ceremony, the EVP of Telkom's Enterprise Service Division, Teuku Muda Nanta, expressed his gratitude for the formal cooperation between Telkom and Bank Sumut. He also added that with its capabilities, Telkom is ready to support the development of digitalization for MSMEs through the integration of market ecosystems, village ecosystems, and especially digital ecosystems. Apart from this collaboration, Telkom itself has committed to creating a digital agricultural ecosystem that is connected from upstream, production processes, to downstream agriculture by collaborating with all stakeholders in agriculture, through the Agree service. "In the future, the digitalization trend will be able to improve the customer experience of customers. TelkomGroup is ready to support Bank Sumut's efforts through digitalization, increasing cooperation between Telkom and Bank Sumut which is mutually beneficial in supporting the business of both parties and supporting other business developments, "added Nanta. Meanwhile, on the same occasion, the President Director of Bank Sumut, Rahmat Fadillah Pohan, said that the collaboration in using Agree's digital services was in line with Bank Sumut's commitment to boost the economy of North Sumatra, including increasing agricultural yields and farmers' welfare through KUR financing. "The use of technology through applications to access KUR financing is expected to grow millennial farmers, increase literacy access, and financial inclusion and increase the competitiveness of North Sumatran agricultural products," said Rahmat. Agree is part of Leap, the umbrella brand for Telkom's digital products and services that aims to accelerate the digitization of Indonesian society through the integration of its three main features, namely Agree Partner, Agree Modal, and Agree Market. The presence of Leap is expected to support the growth of Indonesia's digital ecosystem in order to accelerate the realization of national digital sovereignty, in line with the government's target in the next few years.
