Indonesia Wants to Export Cosmetics to the US to Arab IDR 6.2 M

Minister of Trade Zulkifli Hasan (Zulhas) witnessed the signing of a trade memorandum of understanding (MoU) between PT Mustika Ratu and its trading partners from the United States (US), Japan, Saudi Arabia, Australia, and the United Arab Emirates. The value of the USD 400 thousand MoU was recorded in the 37th TEI for cosmetic products. The signing was held on Saturday (22/10) at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) Bumi Serpong Damai (BSD), Tangerang, shortly before the closing of Jakarta Muslim Fashion Week (JMFW) 2023 which was held at the 37th Trade Expo Indonesia. "I appreciate PT Mustika Ratu and its partners who have participated in the 37th Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) and made achievements through the signing of the cooperation. This achievement is encouraging because it shows the global market's interest in Indonesian cosmetic products," Zulhas said in a statement. his statement, Monday (24/10/2022).
The signing was carried out symbolically by the President Director of PT Mustika Ratu Bingar Situmorang and the Australian buyer. Also witnessing were Deputy General Chairperson of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) Juan Permata Adoe, Director of Mustika Ratu Tbk Kusuma Ida Anjani, Miss Indonesia Environment 2022 Cindy May McGuire, and Deputy Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Anne Patricia Sutanto. In 2021, Indonesia will export cosmetic products to the world with a value of more than USD 139 million.
