PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero) is currently mapping various investment potentials owned by the company's ecosystem. This is one of the efforts to improve the company's performance. Director of Business Development Angkasa Pura I Dendi T Danianto revealed that various schemes and plans had been prepared. Including airport thematic development according to their respective regions, starting from I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport, to Yogyakarta International Airport. Even so, Dendi found investors who were not interested in the big airport hub. In fact, the investor specifically asked to invest in the maritime triangle area, Kupang-Biak-Ambon. "One investor came to us, he only wanted Kupang-Biak-Ambon, we asked 'why is it specific?'," he said in the SOE International Conference Discussion Panel, Tuesday (18/10/2022). "It turns out that in the Kupang-Biak-Ambon triangle, one of the largest maritime products is there. And they see the potential and they want to invest in those three places," he explained. He admits that this is not included in the business plan and investment potential offered by AP I. However, it turns out that there are opportunities for investment to enter through other sectors that can intersect. "For us, we have never been in our investment constellation, but apparently it was for people or institutions that play in marine products, Kupang-Biak-Ambon they were looking for, not big airports like Denpasar," he said.
On that occasion, Dendi explained that AP I was in a position to restructure the company. Both from the business direction, organizational culture, financial restructuring, to digitalization. "These are the 4 pillars that we are working on but the focus will be on financial restructuring," he said. One of its main missions is to reduce the company's liabilities from IDR 33 trillion to IDR 22.5 trillion. Then, equity can increase from IDR 10 trillion to IDR 20 trillion. "This is the basis, this is what we are working on, in deleverage liability, we are a company that has assets of IDR 43 trillion but has a liability of IDR 33 trillion. Our target is here, deleveraging at IDR 10.5 trillion to achieve liability to only IDR 22. 5 (trillion) and later can reach equity from IDR 10 trillion to IDR 20 trillion," he explained.
