Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Uno said that the economic recovery could go well with the maximum use of the MSME sector. According to Sandiaga, micro, small and medium enterprises have significant potential for economic recovery. With a contribution to employment of more than 61% and 61% to investment. Sandi also believes that Indonesia can survive the threat of a global recession that the world fears will occur next year. "Our creative economy is very large, its growth is higher than the national economy. Therefore, we have to increase innovation, adaptation and collaboration," said Sandi at the Opening of IKF XI 2022, Tuesday (18/10). "We see that the export potential of creative economy products has reached USD 25 billion, this is a record," he continued.
A number of programs to maximize creative economy exports continue to be intensified, such as the Spice of The World program and the opening of MSME product outlet branches abroad. "We encourage the acceleration of exports of coffee and spices, which will contribute around USD 2 billion and will reach around 4,000 restaurants around the world, as part of promoting our tourism and creative economy," said Sandiaga. Sandiaga is also optimistic that Indonesia will not be too caught up in the global economic recession next year. "I am very optimistic that if we join hands, our national identity works together, we can overcome the potential recession next year by focusing on the strengths we have," concluded Sandiaga.
