The products of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) Batik Blimbing, Malang City penetrated the market in three countries, namely Singapore, the United States and Finland, after the reopening of export markets which had been halted due to the pandemic. "Alhamdulillah, we finally sent Blimbing Batik to Finland. And we are home-made products, so the order is only one to 10 pieces of batik," said one of the owners of Blimbing Batik SMEs, Auliya Rishmawati in Malang, Tuesday. Auliya said she was grateful that Blimbing Batik products had started to rise with an increase in orders in general, from 60 to 70%. "Post-pandemic, there has been an increase and activity has returned, and it is 60 to 70%, the increase continues and orders are still continuing," he said. In addition, he said, Batik Blimbing SMEs have also participated in a number of exhibition activities, plus several preorders or incoming orders.

Meanwhile, Batik Blimbing Malang is located at Jalan Candi Jago Number 6 Blimbing, Malang, and is one of the leading MSMEs in the city, as well as part of the SMEs assisted by Bank Indonesia (BI). The Mayor of Malang, Sutiaji, appreciated the MSMEs of Batik Blimbing Malang which had penetrated foreign markets, because he knew that the perpetrators of Batik Blimbing started their business from scratch. "I know for myself that Batik Blimbing Malang started its business from scratch, therefore I appreciate it. And we will continue to encourage it to develop," he said. Sutiaji also plans to invite a number of Batik MSMEs in Malang to travel to a number of countries to do B to B or Business to Business with several countries.
