Deputy for Distribution Statistics and Services at BPS Setianto explained that the largest increase in exports of non-oil and gas commodities occurred in metal ore, silver, and ash or HS 26. “There was an increase of USD 238.1 million or an increase of 29.07% month to month. Based on the destination countries, the biggest increase is the Philippines, India, and Bulgaria," he said at a press conference at his office, Central Jakarta, Monday (17/10/2022). Meanwhile, the largest increase in exports of animal or vegetable fats, there are 5 countries, namely Bangladesh, the Philippines, Bulgaria, Germany, and Greece. The largest increase in non-oil and gas exports to Bangladesh jumped by USD 126.8 million month to month with the largest increase in vegetable animal fats and oils (HS 15); mineral fuel (HS 27); salt, sulphur, stone, and cement (HS 25). According to Setianto, there are three countries with a share of non-oil and gas exports in September 2022, namely China, the United States, and Japan. The Chinese market share of USD 6.16 billion, which contributed 26.23%; the US market share is USD 2.11 billion with a market share of 9.01%; and Japan with USD 2.1 billion market share of 8.94%. Meanwhile, if we look at the share of non-oil and gas exports in September 2022 for several regions, such as the ASEAN region, it is USD 4.45 billion or 18.95%. "Then our export share to the European Union is worth USD 1.81 billion or 7.7%," said Setianto.
