Minister of Trade Invites Overseas Indonesians in the US to Strengthen Traditional & Export Markets

Trade Minister Zulkifli Hasan said it was important to strengthen traditional export markets and expand new markets through international trade agreements. "It is hoped that the Indonesian diaspora abroad can contribute to advancing the Indonesian economy to achieve Indonesia as a developed country in 2045," he said. He also invited the diaspora and business actors in New York to attend a number of events such as the 37th Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) and Jakarta Muslim Fashion Week (JMFW) which will be held on 19 - 23 October 2022 at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE). "TEI 2022 is the largest trade exhibition in Indonesia. At this exhibition Indonesia will display a variety of superior quality and high-tech products.
