The achievement of the investment realization value of the Tangerang Regency, Banten, in the first semester of 2022 has penetrated the figure of IDR 8.5 trillion and this achievement has increased when compared to 2021 which reached IDR 6 trillion. “The sectors that get the most investment flows are in the housing sector and industrial and office estates,” said Head of the Tangerang Regency One Stop Integrated Investment Agency (DPMTSP), Soma Atmaja in Tangerang, Wednesday. He explained that the increase in investment value was because Tangerang Regency was still a strategic zone in the development of the industrial sector. Where, there are several sub-districts as investment destinations such as Tigaraksa, Cikupa, Balaraja, Pasarkemis, Kosambi, and Pakuhaji sub-districts. “We have a geographical and demographic bonus. What is meant by the bonus is that Tangerang Regency is close to the capital city as the state economic center and is close to the international airport as well as seaports and containers,” he said. The investment sector itself is currently still dominated by foreign investment which reaches IDR 1.8 trillion, followed by a domestic investment of IDR 1.2 trillion with a total investment value of IDR 3.0 trillion. “Based on the number of projects, the largest number is in the Trade and Repair sector with a total of 785 projects,” he said.
He also mentioned that investment opportunities in Tangerang Regency are still very wide open for investors. Considering that the Tangerang Regency Government has implemented electronic business licensing services, either through the Online Single Submission Risk Based Approach (OSS RBA) or through the regionally owned electronic licensing service namely SIPINTER. “Based on OSS data, as of July 3rd, 2022, there are 14,419 companies in Tangerang Regency. With various transparency and openness in obtaining business permits, business actors, and potential investors are expected to be able to immediately realize their investment plans in Tangerang Regency,” he said.
