The Ministry of Public Works and Housing (PUPR) will spend a budget of IDR 30 billion to prepare the infrastructure for the F1H2O event. Director General of Human Settlements at the Ministry of PUPR Diana Kusumastuti said the project will be carried out with a long-term contract or multi-year contract from 2022 to 2023. The Ministry of PUPR stated that the preparation of the F12HO arena on Lake Toba was still constrained by land issues. Diana said her party had been appointed to provide infrastructure support for the success of the world’s most prestigious boat racing event.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of PUPR was appointed to provide wet paddock, dry paddock, and access to the paddock, as well as other supporting facilities. However, the preparation of a number of these infrastructures is still not running smoothly. Diana hopes that the problem can be resolved by all relevant parties. “We hope that the cooperation of all parties in infrastructure work for the F1H2O event especially in land preparation can run smoothly so there will be no delay related to that,” she said.
