Bengkulu Customs and Excise carried out export assistance to PT Sumatran Export Youth, Wednesday (7/9) and MSME Sultan Lintah Indonesia, Thursday (8/9). Bengkulu Customs and Excise provides education on export procedures to convey the facilities provided by it in carrying out exports. Hatta revealed that live leeches are commodities that are much sought after in Malaysia and Russia. Live leeches can be used as an alternative medicine to treat hypertension, diabetes, accelerate wound growth, and maintain healthy skin.
Meanwhile, in Pangkalpinang City, in order to support exports, Pangkalpinang Customs and Excise provided assistance to MSMEs Getas Super Cap Tani in Girimaya District, Pangkalpinang City, Tuesday (23/8). Bong Mie Tjhing, owner of Getas Super Cap Tani, said that his party regularly exports to Singapore. Furthermore, Pangkalpinang Customs and Excise provided assistance to SMEs for Spice Liget and Pinang Coffee in Jurung Village, Marawang District, Bangka, Wednesday (24/8). Sarbini, as Chair of the MSME Gathering Forum (Wasilah) in the Province of the Bangka Belitung Islands, admitted that the breeding of spices on Bangka Island encountered several obstacles. "We hope that the assistance from Customs and Excise can help establish good relations between Pangkalpinang Customs and service users and provide solutions to support MSME players to penetrate the international market," said Hatta.
