Ambassadors extraordinary and plenipotentiary (LBBP) from eight friendly countries on Tuesday (13/9/2022), handed over a letter of credence to President Joko Widodo, at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta. This year, Indonesia and Canada celebrate 70 years of their relationship. “Of course we involve many fields, economics, choice and control and many other areas. I am impressed and there is potential for us to do more. So, that's what I want to do during my tenure here," said Nadia.
Prapan Disyatat, Ambassador of the LBBP of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of Indonesia, said that Indonesia and Thailand already have a long and strong relationship as fellow ASEAN members. He hopes that the two countries can focus on economic cooperation, especially after the Covid-19 pandemic. Meanwhile, Thomas Loidl, Ambassador of the LBBP of the Republic of Austria to the Republic of Indonesia, said that geographically, Austria and Indonesia are quite far apart. However, the two countries have some things in common. Frank L.L Felix, the Ambassador of the LBBP Kingdom of Belgium for the Republic of Indonesia, also expressed hope to increase partnerships in the new economy.
